Setting Up Your First Property

From the Overview tab, find the "Your Properties" section and click Add Property in the top right. If you're already at your plan's property limit, this button reads Upgrade to Add Property instead and opens the upgrade screen.

What you'll need

• Property Name and Address (required)
• City and State (required when creating a property - a dropdown lists all 50 states plus DC)
• Zip Code (optional)
• Number of Units - if you enter a number greater than 0, you'll also set a Monthly Rent per Unit, and LeaseLoop creates that many units for you, all sharing that rent amount

Good to know

• The Number of Units / Monthly Rent bulk-create fields only appear when creating a new property - editing an existing one doesn't offer bulk unit creation (add units one at a time instead - see Adding Units and Tenants).
• City and State become optional once you're editing a property - they're only required at creation.
